Festival de Escargot & Frutos do Mar  – the “Escargot & Seafood Festival” returns for its seventeens year and  its organizers expect up to 20.000 visitors.

One of the most traditional gastronomic events in Ceará, the festival will include live music, gastronomy, sports and leisure.

Highlights of the festival are the variety of dishes using escargots as their main ingredient. Besides the mollusk popularized by the French there is typical seafood of the coastal zone Cearas waiting for all visitors of the festival. Dishes based on these delicacies can be appreciated on Taibas main square in several “culinary-islands” run by the restaurants of the region.
